यूपी सरकार ने मशहूर बॉलीवुड सिंगर लतामंगेशकर को श्रद्धांजलि दी। लतामंगेशकर की स्मृति में उत्तर प्रदेश के अयोध्या में 40 फीट की वीणा की मूर्ति बनाई गई। लतामंगेशकर चौक के पास 14 टन वजनी 40 फुट की वीणा प्रतिमा के अनावरण की व्यवस्था की गयी है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज वस्तुतः इस प्रतिमा का उद्घाटन करेंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ, केंद्रीय मंत्री किशन रेड्डी शामिल होंगे. शहर के राम कथा पार्क में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाएगा.
अधिकारियों का कहना है कि देश में पहली बार इतना बड़ा वाद्य यंत्र लगाया गया है। लता मंगेशकर का जन्म 1929 में हुआ था। उनका निधन इसी साल 6 फरवरी को मुंबई में हुआ था। उन्होंने तीन बार सर्वश्रेष्ठ पार्श्व गायिका का राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार भी जीता। इस वीणा को पद्म श्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित राम सुतार ने बनाया था और इसे बनाने में दो महीने का समय लगा था।
UP government pays tribute to famous Bollywood singer Latamangeshkar. In the memory of Latamangeshkar, a 40 feet veena idol was built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Arrangements have been made for the unveiling of a 40-foot Veena statue weighing 14 tonnes near Latamangeshkar Chowk. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate this statue today. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Kishan Reddy will attend this program. Cultural programs will be organized in Ram Katha Park of the city.
Officials say that such a big musical instrument has been installed for the first time in the country. Lata Mangeshkar was born in 1929. He died on 6 February this year in Mumbai. She also won the National Award for Best Playback Singer thrice. This Veena was made by Padma Shri awardee Ram Sutar and it took two months to make it.
